Chaudhary’ Foundation organized Baliyo Mahila program-a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing the capabilities of women entrepreneurs in the production, marketing, and distribution of iron-rich food products. Altogether 32 women from 4 Palikas of Parasi district were part of the program from 25th September to 29th September 2023 at Bardaghat.
This program seeks to establish a circular dynamic between demand and supply, with Baliyo Mahilas (women entrepreneurs) serving as providers of Baliyo Fortified Foods (BFFs) while simultaneously educating and encouraging consumers, including girls, women of reproductive age (WRA), and pregnant and lactating women (PLW), about the health benefits of incorporating BFFs into their diets.
