CG Shipshikshyalaya - Chaudhary Foundation
CG Shipshikshya is a vocational program that provides skill trainings needed for construction-related jobs. The project primarily focuses on the areas affected by the 2015 earthquake and Nawalparasi, where Chaudhary Foundation already has a training centre located inside CG Industrial Park.
The CG Shipshikshya project has already provided 11 masonry trainings in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Sindhupalchowk, Rasuwa and Dolakha. These classes instructed 330 now-masons, who were taught to construct their own homes after the 2015 earthquake. This also gave them highly specialised manpower expertise to use in either Nepal or abroad.
Shipshikshya will tentatively teach carpentry, plumbing, housekeeping, mobile and TV repair and electrical works by utilising Chaudhary Group’s expertise in these areas, as well.
